Stock Percent Gain Calculator
Here you can calculate how many percent your stocks gained in value.
Please enter the old stock price and the new stock price, then press "Percent Gain" to see how much you gained:
The Dollar Gain is rounded to the nearest cent and the Percentage Gain is rounded up to two decimals. The formula to calculate Percentage Gain is as follows:
((NP-OP)/OP)*100 = PG
OP = Old Price
NP = New Price
PG = Percentage Gain
Example: Bought Apple stock at $280 and new price is $340.
You enter 280 in the Old Stock Price box and 340 in the New Stock Price box. The result is a 21.43 percent gain.
